[solidcore] STRONG!

WINTER IS HERE - LEGIT, IT'S HERE! I CAN'T EVEN DEAL WITH THE AMOUNT OF COLD DAYS FLORIDA HAS HAD THIS SEASON LET ALONE THE TEMPS IN THE BIG CITY... 'IS THIS SHIT FOR REAL,' I FOUND MYSELF ASKING 'B' MULTIPLE TIMES ON OUR MOST RECENT TRIP UP NORTH - WHICH IS WHY I HAPPILY AGREED TO MEETING 'N' @ [solidcore] AFTER EXPLORING HER WINE CLUB BENEFITS THE NIGHT BEFORE...

I was fortunate enough to be asked by [solidcore] prior to opening their Boca Raton location to join their team of pre-opening students. As a lover of all things fitness, I said SIGN ME UP!

[solidcore] is just like a reformer class but on steroids, and with no breaks, and with instructors that don't let you quit - can y'all go for your toes? ([solidcore] joke...)

Since the year it's been open in FL, I've enjoyed maybe 10 classes of [solidcore]. I had to stop this past summer because we moved to MTK, and aside from the fact there is no [solidcore] there (this is a very limited location fitness studio, so HOLLA there's a NYC location), there's also no reason to workout indoors when MTK is just so glorious. Dunes run anyone?

[solidcore] classes are 50ish minutes and you work your ass off (abs, thighs and even arms too) from start to finish. The class is setup on megaformer machines, which are like classic pilates reformer machines but with a spring load to add additional resistance. This workout is one of those that makes your body quiver and muscles sore in places you didn't know existed. 5 of these bad boys, a crazy 3 day juice cleanse and a mile day will have you pool-party ready for sure!

Given that this was a new location and I wanted to work up a good sweat, I knew when 'N' asked to join here there was no reason to say no! This location and class did not disappoint! The instructor even added extra springs to my load without letting me know, which is like a silent push to work harder! I was sweating within 15 minutes into the class and fell in love with the program all over again!
